Where I am today is because of everything I had to unlearn. I was a people-pleaser, a Daddy's girl, striving to be the best and look the best. Even after our first daughter was born this was the race I ran. Boy, it was just so draining and exhausting! Then came Lara, whose name means God's gracious gift, our second daughter. Our differently-abled daughter. Everything I had believed in and tried to be fell apart after Lara. But through her, I met and came to love the person of Grace, Jesus. The one who says: Come as you are and I will give you Rest. I became my heavenly Father's girl. One of the Royal family so to speak. Bit by bit the lies were exposed and I saw and learnt the Truth.
